LAHORE: (Saturday, April 26, 2025): Punjab University and NovaTechX have signed a memorandum of understanding to innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning. In this regard the MoU signing ceremony was held at PU VC’s office committee room. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, CEO of NovaTechX Imran Khan, Director External Linkages Prof Dr Yamina Salman, Program Manager Pakistan NovaTechX Zarmina Orakzai) and Director Business Incubation Center Prof Dr Sania Zahra Malik were present. On this occasion, PU VC Dr Muhammad Ali emphasized the importance of making innovative programs an essential component of academic training, not only for students but also for our faculty members, to keep pace with evolving global trends in technology and innovation. He further stated that PU will continue to pursue such initiatives to strengthen academic-industry linkages and prepare graduates for real-world challenges. Dr Sania Zahra Malik said that the NovaTechX is a US based company that empowers students, developers, and entrepreneurs through its signature Tech Finishing School, a hands-on, market-driven program focused on innovation and product development. This partnership will support joint initiatives such as project-based learning, mentorship for capstone and final year projects, and access to research facilities, laying a solid foundation for academic-industry linkages and future-ready graduates.
